Ah, state abbreviationss. We don't use them that often but when we do it's nice to feel confident that we're choosing Maine instead of Massachusetts, Nebraska instead of New Jersey, or Colorado instead of Connecticutt. This game is simply a fun way to test your skills when it comes to the two-letter abbreviations of U.S. States. There's no penalty for missing one on the quiz, just try again until you get it right. State abbreviations aren't hard to memorize, but it does take a little practice. So if you don't get it the first time just keep on going. You can try as many times as you need on each state to get it right and can make that little progress bar go just a little bit or all the way.
At the top in the green box will be the two-letter state abbrevation. You play the quiz game by using the "Guess a state..." dropdown to make you guess. Once you click the name of a state your guess will be automatically submitted. If you guess the state right you will see an animated GIF of someone doing a celebration dance. You can then click "Show a New Abbreviation" to see the next state. If you get it wrong, you'll see an animated GIF of a chicken saying "Wrong". Simply click "guess again" to guess another state. You can guess as many times as you want until you get each quiz question right.
