This last week we had a quick regroup. We wanted to talk through a few questions that had popped up since our last monthly planning meeting that needed an answer before our next.
It was a great chat. We made some quick decisions and shared some fun ideas.
And as I reflected on why, I realized that this meeting had been very different from others on one simple, insightful point:
We weren’t talking about how to get the project going, we were simply steering it in the right direction.
We’ve been pushing this boulder for a while. And it’s not to say we haven’t made any progress. But to realize we could spend some time on guiding our momentum instead of just generating it?
That was a fun moment.
