I work really hard at what I do. I’m scrappy, I’m always moving, I’m always trying to find a better way to tell our story or get the word out or align with the market’s needs. I spend a lot of time gathering information, thinking it through, practicing, failing, trying again, and repeating all of the above.

This last week we did an exercise as a team that was designed to help us collectively really nail down some of those messages.

Lots of people were involved from all different parts of the company. I spent an afternoon with the senior team trying to distill it down. To find the answer.

And that answer? Was exactly where I already was.

I wasn’t quite sure how the meeting would go, but as the week ends I feel a sense of validation for my skills and approach. And that, it turns out, is a pretty nice feeling.
